More than 30 Daesh terrorists were killed in airstrikes carried out by Russia in Deir el Zor, said the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights on Sunday.

The attacks paved the way for regime forces to recapture posts they had lost at Thardeh Mountain in Deir el Zor, the observatory said.

It added the death toll among Daesh elements rose to 30 and scores of them were wounded as a result of the raids.
