Tripoli - Arab Today

Fayez Al Sarraj, the Chairman of the Presidential Council of Libya and prime minister of the Government of National Accord of Libya, has officially announced the liberation of in Sirte from ISIS group. 
In a televised address last night Al Sarraj said: "Eight months after the start of the operations against ISIS in the town of Sirte I officially announce the end of military operations and the liberation of the town." "The will of Libyan people triumphed over terror," Al Sarraj was quoted as saying by Libya News Agency, while warning that the battle against the militants was not over.
