Shah Rukh Khan is all praise for Farah Khan

Megastar Shah Rukh Khan on Tuesday launched the music and third poster of choreographer-director Farah Khan’s debut film as an actor, Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi, in Mumbai and praised her as one of India’s finest directors. King Khan, who is a very good friend of Farah’s, said: “She is one of the most finest and talented director we have with us. I thank Farah for giving me some nicest moment in her films [sic].” Farah Khan and Boman Irani recreated the magic of characters Simran and Raj of Dilwale Dhulaniya Le Jayenge (DDLJ) in a poster. “I have seen spoofs of all movies created by others, but I never thought one would ever think of making a spoof on DDLJ,” SRK said. The 1995 blockbuster romantic film DDLJ featured King Khan and Kajol in the lead. SRK, Irani and Farah Khan danced on stage, where the megastar played Raj of DDLJ, Khan played Simran and Irani played Amrish Puri. Shirin Farhad..., directed by Bela Sehgal, is a romantic-comedy focusing on a 40-plus couple. “I think love can happen at any age. It has no age. There is no right time and right place for love. It can happen any time,” SRK said. “We have seen love stories made with young teenagers but this one is different. I have seen the posters and promo of this film and I really loved it.
