London - Arabstoday
He is one of Britain’s most successful acting exports. But it seems that by Hollywood standards, Robert Pattinson is not quite British enough. The Twilight actor, 26, had to have elocution lessons to reclaim his English accent because he has spent too much time in LA. Christina Ricci, 27, his co-star in the film Bel Ami, in which he plays a penniless Casanova in 1890s France, told US chat show host Jimmy Kimmel: “They hired an accent coach as Rob’s spent a lot of time in LA. “He made fun of me as I was trying to be British and sounded like a Hollywood valley girl.”The Twilight actor, who was educated at the Harrodian school in South-West London, revealed earlier that he feels “naked” when using his real accent in a film.from gulf news.
