Richard Gere reportedly dating Padma Lakshmi

Rumors has it that Richard Gere and Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi have started dating. Sources tell Page Six that the 64-year-old actor and the TV personality have very recently started seeing each other. "They have been quietly spending some time together," the insider said. "It is all very new and recent, and happened while he has been filming in New York." Gere is currently in NYC shooting the upcoming drama Time Out of Mind, where he'll play a "homeless man who tries reconnect with his estranged daughter." The alleged relationship comes eight months after the Pretty Woman star and his wife of 11 years, Carey Lowell, announced their separation. The couple have a 14-year-old son named Homer James Jigme Gere. Gere was previously married to supermodel Cindy Crawford.
