Reba McEntire 'doing great' following separation

Reba McEntire is doing well following her separation from husband Narvel Blackstock.

The 60-year-old singer's friend and former Reba co-star, Melissa Peterson, revealed as much to Entertainment Tonight at the TCA summer press tour party Tuesday. McEntire and Blackstock announced they will split after 26 years of marriage this week.

"I've talked to her and she's doing great," Peterson shared. "Beyond what she said in her statement, I love her and wish her all my love, and that's all I can say right now." McEntire will appear on the actress' new show, Baby Daddy, on Wednesday.

McEntire and Blackstock wed in June 1989, and share 25-year-old son Shelby in addition to Blackstock's three children from his first marriage. The pair said they will continue to work together and support each other despite their separation.
