Oscar nominees attend luncheon at the Beverly Hilton

Leonardo DiCaprio, Sandra Bullock, Matthew McConaughey, Pharrell Williams, Bono and Jared Leto attended the Oscar nominees luncheon in Beverly Hills, Calif. Other attendees at Monday's event at the Beverly Hilton hotel were Megan Ellison, Alfonso Cuaron, Steve McQueen, Amy Adams, June Squibb, Jared Leto, Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett, David O. Russell and Spike Jonze. The cocktail hour and luncheon were organized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' board of governors. The stars were assigned seats at one of several dozen tables, alongside nominees from other categories. After everyone ate, the nominees posed together for a group photo, then picked up their official Oscar nomination certificates and gift bags that included "Oscar Nominee" sweatshirts, the Hollywood Reporter said. The 86th Oscars for excellence in film in 2013 are to be presented March 2. Ellen DeGeneres is to serve as host of the ceremony.
