Venezuelan soap star Monica Spear Mootz and her husband were shot to death, and their young daughter was hurt in a roadside robbery, NBC News reported Tuesday. Mootz, 29, and Henry Thomas Berry, 39, were on a family vacation with their 5-year-old daughter when their car broke down on the Valencia-Puerto Cabello highway in Venezuela Monday. NBC News said armed men approached the car and the couple locked themselves inside to protect themselves. However, the bandits opened fire, killing the parents and wounding the child.
