Michael Strahan, Nicole Murphy call off engagement

Michael Strahan and his fiancee of five years, Nicole Murphy, broke off their engagement Friday, the former NFL star's representative said.
"They love each other very much, but with the distance and work schedule it has been hard to maintain the relationship," the rep told People.
The former New York Jets player and former model started dating in 2007, and the marriage, should it have taken place, wouldn't have been a first for either.
Strahan was married twice, most recently having split from Jean Muggli. Murphy was previously married to Eddie Murphy. They have nine children between the two of them.
