Memorial service for late director Wu Tianming

A memorial service for late film director Wu Tianming is held at the Babaoshan Funeral Home in Beijing, capital of China, March 8, 2014. Wu Tianming, who died of a heart attack on March 4 at the age of 75, was a leading figure of China's 'Fourth Generation' film directors. While he was head of the renowned Xi'an Film Studio, Wu spotted talents such as Zhang Yimou and Gu Changwei who later became representatives of China's 'Fifth Generation' film directors. His major works include 'Old Well' and 'Life'.
