Lebanese singer Marwa denied recent allegations that she took part in a scandalous porn video that was circulated over the internet. Rumors had it that Marwa appeared completely nude in the video that was taken behind the scenes of the film “Ahasees” (Feelings) that was screened in Egypt in 2011. Marwa stated that she was shocked with the accusations against her in regards to the video and assured that she has nothing to do with it. Marwa added that the video was fabricated by sick individuals to ruin her reputation in front of her fans. Once Marwa heard about the video she immediately called director of the film Hani Jarjas Fawzi who assured her that he is on her side and is willing to stand in front of the head of the Egyptian Musician Union to prove she never filmed such a degrading video. Hani added that the film was passed by the Egyptian Censorship Committee and he does not know where such a video came from. On his part, head of the Egyptian Musician Union Eman Al Bahr Darweesh said he was shocked when he watched the video and had questioned how Marwa could film such an unacceptable video in front of the entire cast of the film. Eman did not make a decision with regards to banning Marwa from singing in Egypt and wanted to further investigate the matter and give her the chance to defend herself and prove she is innocent before making his verdict.
