Life great for Pickler even without cat

Former "American Idol" contestant Kellie Pickler says married life is still going well even though it cost her pet cat. Pickler, 25, told Parade magazine she had to give away her feline buddy Pickles after she married songwriter Kyle Jacobs a year ago. "I love cats, but my husband's severely allergic to them," said Pickler. "I had to find a good home for my cat when we got together. I still get a little teary eyed when I think about Pickles." Pickler kept up her cat-loving creds by teaming up with designer Geren Ford to create a special kitty sweater that is being sold by the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Pickler has been settling in with Jacobs and just released her new country album "100 Proof." "He is the best husband I ever had -- come to think of it; he's the only husband I've ever had," Pickler joked. "On a serious note, he's the prize."
