Kate Winslet to co-star in 'Divergent'

Summit Entertainment confirmed Thursday British actress Kate Winslet will co-star with Theo James in the futuristic action-adventure film, "Divergent." Winslet will play Jeanine Matthews in the movie, which will co-star Shailene Woodley, Jai Courtney, Zoe Kravitz, Ansel Elgort and Maggie Q. Based on author Veronica Roth's New York Times best seller, the film will be directed by Neil Burger from a script by Vanessa Taylor. Set in a future world where people are divided into distinct factions based on their personalities, the film is to commence principal photography next month in Chicago. It will be released March 21, 2014.
