London - UPI

US cable network Current TV says it plans to add a new weekly show to its lineup called "John Fugelsang: So That Happened." The hourlong show, starring actor, comedian and commentator John Fugelsang, is to premiere Friday at 6 p.m. It is to serve as a precursor to his nightly series, which will premiere later this year, the network said. "First I would like to thank Joy Behar, whom I admire enormously, for occasionally letting me sit in her chair. Viewers have come to expect the unexpected from her show and we believe that 'So That Happened' will have the same kind of tone and irreverence while discussing what I believe to be some very serious and substantive topics," Fugelsang said in a statement Monday.
