Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult have reportedly ended their relationship.
A source told E! News the breakup was "very amicable" and came about because of their busy careers.
"They spent a lot of time apart for work, and it was difficult on their relationship," the insider said.
Hoult was spotted cozying up to Mad Max: Fury Road co-star Riley Keough last week, and one source told The Fix the split was due to Lawrence's ego.
"They're still talking but Nicholas is moving on," the person revealed. "He hates how in love with fame Jen is, and he told her he hates dating an A-list actress ... That was the most hurtful to Jen because she's worked so hard for her achievements and she's so proud of her career. But Nic wants a more low-key girlfriend."
Lawrence and Hoult started dating in 2011, but broke up in January 2013. They rekindled the relationship in July 2013 after filming X-Men: Days of Future Past, and the actress recently told Marie Claire she and Hoult trust each other.
"When we're busy, we agree to mutually ignore each other," she shared. "Not completely, but neither of us gets mad when the other doesn't text or call back. Life's super busy. Obviously you know what they're doing, and you trust them.
Lawrence will appear in Serena and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 later this year, while Hoult is scheduled for Dark Places and Mad Max: Fury Road.
