Entertainer Jane Kean, who played Trixie on the 1960s revival of "The Honeymooners," has died of complications from a fall in Burbank, Calif., her family said. She was 90. Her niece, Deidre Wolpert, told the Los Angeles Times she died Tuesday at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank. The Connecticut native started working with "Honeymooners'" icon Jackie Gleason in the 1940s when they were both vaudeville performers. They appeared in several stage productions in the 1950s and she reunited with him in 1966 when Gleason moved to Miami Beach for another version of "The Jackie Gleason Show" for which he revived "The Honeymooners" as a series of comedy sketches, the Times said. Art Carney, Gleason's co-star in the original 1950s version of "The Honeymooners," returned for the revival, while Kean replaced Joyce Randolph as Trixie and Sheila MacRae took on the role of Alice, who was originally played by Audrey Meadows. Kean's voice could also be heard in commercials and in animated movies such as "Pete's Dragon" and "Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol."
