Actor James Franco, singer Nick Jonas and other celebrities said they escaped injury in Friday's shooting at Los Angeles International Airport. Franco, Jonas, "The Bachelor" host Chris Harrison, FOX Sports senior writer Bill Reiter and "MythBusters" host Tory Belleci were not harmed when 23-year-old Paul Anthony Ciancia allegedly open fired in the airport, killing a Transportation Security Administration worker and wounding several others at about 9:20 a.m. PDT. Evacuated or locked down in various places throughout the airport, the stars tweeted about their experiences. "At #lax Some s** tbag shot up the place," Franco said via Twitter. "Somethin crazy goin on at LAX right now. Terminals shut down & cops w guns drawn!" Harrison tweeted. "Incredible response by LAPD & airport authority. This place was locked tight w precision quickly. God bless first responders!" "First came the gunfire. Then people including me hiding our seats. It felt very Columbine. A new kind of fear, at least for me," Reiter wrote. "Lots of Good Samaritan moments as we wait, &group of Aussies being funny & gregarious & kind. The other, better side of humanity on display." "It's filling up inside the secured area. People are mostly calm now, but very upset," Belleci reported. "We are being shuttled away from the terminal now. Eye witness said the shooter had an assault riffle." "Landed at LAX at to the news that there was a shooting in the terminal my plane was supposed to deplane at," Jonas said. "Currently waiting on the plane in a remote parking area. I am safe. Praying for the victims of this shooting."
