Iron Maiden drummer Clive Burr dead at 56

London-born Iron Maiden drummer Clive Burr has died from health complications due to multiple sclerosis, VH1 said Wednesday. He was 56. Burr had played in the band Samson before joining Iron Maiden from 1980-82. He later performed with the metal bands Trust and Alcatrazz. After Burr was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, his former band Iron Maiden performed charity concerts to help him pay for his medical bills, VH1 said.
