Hilary Duff debuts short summer hair

Hilary Duff said goodbye to her long blond locks on Thursday.
The 26-year-old singer and actress took to Twitter and Instagram to share photos of her new look, a choppy long bob, or "lob," for summer.

"She texted me last night and wanted to do it right away," Duff's stylist, Marcus Francis, told Us Weekly. "We wanted a bigger change for summer and just to feel healthier in general."
Duff also shared a photo of her "morning chop," with Francis taking scissors to her hair.

Duff isn't the only celeb to go for a new look.
Jennifer Aniston, Whitney Port and Kaley Cuoco have all revealed shorter haircuts in recent months.
