Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie separate

Hilary Duff's publicist told People.com Friday the U.S. singer-actress has separated from her husband, former professional hockey player Mike Comrie. Duff and Comrie married in 2010 and are the parents of a 21-month-old son named Luca Cruz. However, the couple recently "mutually decided [upon] an amicable separation," the representative said. "They remain best friends and will continue to be in each other's lives. They are dedicated to loving and parenting their amazing son, and ask for privacy at this time."
