Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry has given birth to a son, her spokeswoman said Sunday. It is her second child and her first with French actor Olivier Martinez. "Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez welcomed their son yesterday," the spokeswoman, Meredith O'Sullivan Wasson, told AFP in an email, without providing any further details. Berry and Martinez, both 47, married in July, according to People magazine. The couple met each other in 2010 on the set of the film "Dark Tide." Berry has been married twice before and has a five-year-old daughter, Nahla, with Canadian model Gabriel Aubry. A source at the hospital told People magazine on Saturday night, "Olivier hasn't left Halle's side. Nahla visited her baby brother earlier today." Since Berry and Aubry's separation, they have repeatedly tussled over access and visiting rights for their daughter. On Thanksgiving Day last November, Martinez and Aubry brawled on the doorstep of Berry's home after her ex turned up to see his daughter. Aubry was left with cuts and bruises including a black eye. Berry was the first African-American actress to win a best lead actress Oscar in 2002 for "Monster's Ball." Her latest movie is the thriller "The Call." Martinez's last movie was "Dark Tide," which was released in March 2012 in the United States
