Eva Longoria: My mother's a superhero

Eva Longoria is motivated by her "superwoman" mother. The actress is highly esteemed for her philanthropic efforts. Eva insists her determination and desire to achieve is inherited from her mum. "My mother," she told the UK edition of OK! magazine when asked who has inspired her. "Everybody says: 'You do so much and you work so hard,' but I actually think I'm not doing enough because I watched my mother growing up and she was like a superwoman. I always think, if she can do it, I have to do it too. She's very proud of what I am doing, and that feels good." Eva also takes inspiration from her love life, and is currently dating Eduardo Cruz. The Hollywood star admits she's a sucker for romance. "[I'm] a hopeless romantic. What makes me feel romantic is humour, I like someone who makes me laugh," she smiled. "There are a lot of people who make me laugh."
