
Don Mitchell, an actor from the original "Ironside" television series, has died of natural causes in Encino, Calif., the Los Angeles Times said Wednesday. He was 70 when he died Sunday. No other details regarding his death were immediately available. Best known for playing Mark Sanger, the aide and bodyguard to Raymond Burr's wheelchair-bound title character in the NBC drama from 1967-75, Mitchell also appeared in "Scream Blacula Scream," "Matlock," "Capitol" and "I Dream of Jeannie."
