Bob Dylan releases new video for 1965's 'Like a Rolling Stone'

Iconic U.S. singer-songwriter Bob Dylan has posted an interactive music video for his classic 1965 song "Like a Rolling Stone" on his website. The clip invites viewers to flip through television channels to see various actors and TV personalities -- such as Rick Harrison and Chumlee Russell of "Pawn Stars" -- appearing to sing his song. The video was posted on BobDylan.com Tuesday to coincide with the release of "The Complete Album Collection Volume 1," which is now available from Columbia/Legacy Recordings. "We're forever looking for compelling, creative ways to distinguish our artists and their music from the din. The Interlude treatment of 'Like a Rolling Stone' provides us with a unique, playful, highly engaging platform from which we can reach -- and ideally attract -- Dylan fans from across the spectrum," Adam Block, president of Sony Music/Legacy Recordings, said in a statement. "As a musician myself, I can't imagine a more thrilling project to be a part of than helping create the first video for 'Like a Rolling Stone,'" said Yoni Bloch, founder and chief executive officer of Interlude, the digital media company that created the video. "The song has repeatedly been voted the No. 1 Greatest Song of All Time by Rolling Stone, and is generally regarded as revolutionary, influencing both artists and popular music around the world.
