Ashlee Simpson seeking career advice from mother-in-law

Ashlee Simpson hs reportedly been trying to get her mother in law Diana Ross to help her revamp her music career.
Simpson, 30, married Ross' son Evan Ross earlier this year, and sources told Ok! magazine, she's been "hitting up Diana for industry contacts."
"Diana has no problem helping her son out, and she really does like Ashlee, but she knows a spoiled princess when she sees one," said the insider. "[Ashlee] is really pushing her luck with Diana."
But Simpson isn't the only one coming to Ross for help. In September, the "Pieces of Me" singer joined Ross and several members of her family for the re-opening of her daughter Chudney Ross' children's bookstore.
Though rumors that Ross didn't approve of Simpson surfaced at some point before she married Evan, the 70-year-old singer announced she only wanted "love, happiness, and joy for [her] son and his bride," shortly after their nuptials.
