Anna Kendrick to host 'Saturday Night Live' in April

Anna Kendrick will make her Saturday Night Live debut on April 5 alongside musical guest Pharell. The 28-year-old actress is best known for her Oscar-nominated role in 2009's Up in the Air. Kendrick will next star in the film adaptation of the musical The Last 5 Years. She recently signed up to star in the sequel of her hit musical comedy Pitch Perfect 2. Kendrick will be preceded by Louis C.K. who will host SNL for the second time on March 29 ahead of the May 5 return of his FX comedy Louie. He'll be joined by musical guest Sam Smith. Seth Rogen will follow Kendick's hosting gig as he'll return to host for a third time on April 12 with musical guest Ed Sheeran.
