Riz Ahmed has said working with Kate Hudson and Kiefer Sutherland on upcoming film The Reluctant Fundamentalist was a "masterclass". The Four Lions actor plays a young Pakistani man working on Wall Street after the September 11 attacks in the drama, which is based on the book by Mohsin Hamid and also stars Kate, Kiefer and Liev Shreiber. "We just wrapped on that film last year, it was just a real sort of masterclass doing a week with Kate, doing a week with Kiefer and doing a week with Liev, and then starting the whole process again," Riz revealed. "It was a fantastic dynamic and a great experience." Riz takes the lead in Ill Manors, which was written and directed by Ben Drew - better known to rap fans as Plan B. Ben's own music forms the soundtrack to the gritty urban flick. "I think it's a really unique way of using film and music to really tell a story in a musical but without any of the characters singing on screen, so I think it's a really imaginative use of a soundtrack and I think it'll inspire other people to do similar things," Riz said.
