50% to produce and appear in Starz series 'Power'

Premium cable network Starz has announced that their new 50 Cent-produced series, Power, will make its debut on June 7. In addition to his role as producer, 50 Cent -- real name Curtis Jackson -- will have a supporting role and contribute to the series' soundtrack with his track featuring Joe, "Big Rich Town." Power was created by The Good Wife producer and writer Courtney Kemp Agboh, and follows James "Ghost" St. Patrick -- the owner of a NYC nightclub -- as he tries to build a drug dealing empire. Omari Hardwick and Lela Loren will co-star in the drama and 50 Cent will play Kana, a longtime friend of James "Ghost" St. Patrick.
