Future Cities Exhibition, jointly organized by Dubai Municipality , Environmental Centre for Arab Towns, Arab Towns Organization and Informa Exhibitions at World Trade Centre alongside City Scape Global 2012 was officially inaugurated by Deputy Ruler Of Dubai HH Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Hussain Nasser Lootah, Director General of Dubai Municipality , Essa Al Maidoor, Deputy Director General, Dubai Municipality , Mohammed Al Noory, Director ECAT, Rohan Marwaha, Managing Director of Informa were also present in the inauguration ceremony. After the inauguration, Sheikh Maktoum toured various pavilions set up by companies and organizations to showcase products, projects and models that promote alternatives and solutions to minimize the risks future cities may face. Sheikh Maktoum also opened Dubai Municipality pavilion and spent considerable time there. Dubai Municipality pavilion showcases models of projects and initiatives that protects environment and sustainable development.
