Zakat House spent KD 292,000 in charity in 3rd quarter of 2011

he Zakat House announced Thursday that it had spent around KD 292,000 worth of charity in the third quarter of 2011. Head of in kind Donations at the Zakat House Adel Al-Sharrah said that the house had also received donations from individuals consisting of necessities and other goods worth KD 238,000 within the same period. He added that the reception department at the house was being renovated in order to accommodate the increasing numbers of donations and such step would help bolstering the house operations in the future.
