
The first consultative meeting in the agricultural field between Yemen and Turkey began on Saturday in the city of Hodeidah.The meeting, which is organized by Tihama Development Authority over two days and attended by 70 participants from ten Yemeni provinces and the Turkish agricultural delegation, aims to identify areas of future cooperation between the two countries in the areas of production, water and modern irrigation ,greenhouses ,agricultural operations (fertilizing and pest control) and modern techniques and marketing.A number of papers focusing on the various agricultural aspects will be reviewed during the meeting by participants from both sides.The meeting will also review the areas of support provided by the Turkish government in the agricultural sector in general and in the fields of marketing, rural women, production and researches.
