
Minister of Public Works and Road Omar al-Kurshmi has discussed during his meeting on Sunday with the World Bank(WB)'s Country Manager for Yemen Wael Zakout arrangements to implement the first phase of the Sada'a-Aden highway project. At their meeting, the WB mission got acquainted with the practical actions carried out by the ministry and preparations to announce the project's first stage tender. The minister noted to the vital importance of this strategic road, making clear that this road would be one of the biggest projects to be implemented in Yemen, in addition to its economic, commercial and social importance.
