Yemen, Nations Population Fund discuss cooperation areas

Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Dr. Amat al-Razzaq Hummad met here on Thursday with Representative of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Sana'a ,Lene K. Christiansen.They discussed the cooperation between Yemen and the Fund, particularly with regard to supporting the women's issues ,educating young people, social protection and capacity building of staff in gender policy in the ministry.The meeting also discussed the possibility of the Fund's support for the safe delivery box project ,population issues and the development of information and data and taking advantage of the population census results and the promotion of women's rights as well as areas of the available support in the field of care for the elderly.
