Yemen, AFESD review progress of rural road developmental project

Public Works and Roads Minister Omar al-Kurshumidiscussed here on Sunday with a delegation of the Arab Fund for Economic andSocial Development (AFESD) the implementation progress of the 4th phase of ruralroad developmental project.The 4th phase includes 23 projects with a total length of 500 KM carried out at a cost of $100 million.Al-Kurshumi hailed the AFESD's role in support of the developmental projects inYemen, especially in road field, to help revive the rural development, in addition tocreating job opportunities.For his part, the AFESD delegation's representative Osama a-Saqaf expressed theFund's readiness to finance the road projects as planed in order to be achieved ontime.
