The World Bank President Robert Zoellick will visit Ramallah, in the West Bank, to meet Palestinian leaders and discuss development issues, the bank revealed. Zoellick is set to arrive in Israel and Ramallah during his four-day visit which will start tomorrow Sunday and continue till next Wednesday, it was announced. He will aslo take part in the annual Herzliya Conference which will convene near Tel Aviv with the participation of Israeli and foreign politicians and researchers. The World Bank stressed in its report last September that the Palestinian authority had achieved a substantial progress in building the governmental institutions but the financial and economic crisis poses a threat to this success.
