UAE, Jordanian labor ministers discuss joint cooperation

UAE Labor Minister Saqr Ghobash has met Dr Nidal Al Qatameen, Jordan’s Minister of Labor, Minister Transport and President of the 102nd session of International Labor Organization (ILO) on the sidelines of the ILO conference in Geneva. During the meeting, Ghobash and Al Qatameen discussed the agenda of conference and the report on future challenges of the labor markets , as well as proposals put forward to tackling the challenges. They also discussed the joint cooperation between the UAE and Jordan in the area of labor markets, workforce and exchange of experiences between the two countries. The UAE delegation also participated in the international gathering in Geneva held on solidarity with Palestinian workers and people on the sidelines of 102nd session.
