UAE FM meets Russian industry & trade minister

Foreign Minister H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan met today at Yas Marina Circuit with Russian Industry & Trade Minister Denis Valentinovich Manturov. Sheikh Abdullah and Manturov discussed ties of friendship between the two countries and ways to enhance cooperation in all domains. They also touched topics of mutual interest. Sheikh Abdullah welcomed the Russian Minister and praised the progressive ties of friendship between the peoples of the two countries. He expressed the hope that Manturov'svisit to the UAE will further contribute in strengtheing bilateral relations in all fields, particularly in the commercial, industrial, investment and energy sectors. The Russian Minister said his country was looking forward to boost bilateral cooperation with the UAE on the ground of excellent relations and the UAE's image as a leading economic, commercial and tourism hub in the region. He also commended the progress made by the UAE in the different spheres, adding that he was impressed with the rousing success made by the Formula 1 race in Abu Dhabi.
