
H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, and Vice Chairman of the Emirates Identity Authority, has received three ISO certificates obtained by the Emirates Identity Authority from the British Standards Institute, BSI. Paul Fox, the Deputy Chief of Mission and Acting Ambassador at the British Embassy in Abu Dhabi, presented H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan with the ISO 9001 certification - Quality Management System and the International Certificate for Customer Service and ISO 27001 Certification - Information Security Management System. H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed praised the efforts of the Emirates Identity Authority which resulted in the obtaining of these three certificates. He called on the workers in the Emirates Identity Authority to continue their efforts to achieve sustainable excellence at the level of overall performance and quality of services, the embodiment of the government's strategy and vision for the United Arab Emirates to be one of the best countries in the world in 2020. Attending the awarding of the certificates to Sheikh Saif were Engineer Dr. Ali Mohamed Al Khouri, Director-General of the Emirates Identity Authority and Ahmad Al-khatib, General Manager, BSI Abu Dhabi at the British Standards Institution. Dr. Al Khouri asserted that the success in obtaining international certification reflects the character of the country's leadership on their approach to reaching the heights of excellence in government services and the achievement of becoming the top nation globally according to the economic vision for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi 2030. For his part, Ahmad Al-khatib, representative of the British Authority for Standardization and Metrology, congratulated the leadership and management of the Emirates Identity Authority and its staff on this achievement which comes as a continuation of its confident and accelerated momentum towards improving the provision of innovative service.
