Turkey's industrial production index up in March

Industrial production index in Turkey in March this year was up 2.4 percent over the same period a year earlier, the country's statistics authority said Tuesday. TurkStat said in the sub sectors level of industry; mining sector increased 4.3 percent, manufacturing sector index increased 1.6 percent, electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply index increased 7.9 percent. Calendar adjusted production index increased 2.5 percent when compared to the same month of 2011, and seasonal and calendar adjusted industrial production index was up 0.7 percen
