Turkey gives $250m loan to Egyptian defence industry

Turkish Secretariat of Defense Industries agreed to provide a loan of 250 million dollars to actualize Turkish-Egyptian joint defense production and procurement projects. Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan Thursday received Egyptian Minister of Military Production Abdelfattah Said Elsisi, who was in Turkey for the 11th International Defense Industry Fair, and discussed developing strategic cooperation issues between Turkey and Egypt. Loan from Turkish Eximbank was decided to be given to support putting Turkish-Egyptian joint defense production and procurement projects into effect.
