Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Radhouan Nouicer called, during his meeting with member of the Libyan National Transitional Council (NTC) Abdelmajid Ghaith Seif Ennasr, for further strengthening the co-operation relations between Tunisia and Libya to serve the two countries' higher interests and achieve the two peoples' aspirations for progress and prosperity. The Secretary of State emphasised the importance of following up the results of the talks held recently in Benghazi between Caretaker Prime Minister Beji Caid Essebsi and Libyan NTC chairman Mustapha Abdeljalil, as it reflects the common will to strengthen solidarity and bilateral co-operation in all areas. He reminded of the forthcoming visit to Libya of a  delegation of Tunisian businessmen who will hold meetings with different representatives of Libyan chambers of commerce to explore opportunities in both countries in all areas, particularly in trade, economy and investment. Mr. Abdelmajid Ghaith Seif Ennasr expressed thanks and gratitude of Libya for the important support lent by Tunisia to the NTC and for hosting a large number of Libyans since the outbreak of the February 17 Libyan Revolution. Both sides emphasised the important opportunities offered to reinforce bilateral co-operation and draw on experiences of both countries, to ensure success of their democratic transitions and build institutions able to achieve their revolutions' objectives.
