Suez Canal achieves total cargo record on Friday

Suez Canal has achieved on Friday a total cargo record that reached 3.536 million tons. Sixty-three ships crossed the Suez Canal Thursday carrying a total cargo of about 3.536 million tons. The south-bound convoy included 28 ships, carrying 1.625 million tons, while the north-bound convoy included 35 vessels, carrying 1.911 million tons.
