The Minister of Water and Electricity, Eng. Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al-Hossein, has signed 17 contracts to implement several water and sanitation projects in various parts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at a total cost of more than SR 550 million . The implementation of these projects by the Ministry of Water and Electricity comes within the framework of royal directives of the wise government under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his constant care to provide all necessary utility services to citizens in all parts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. They also reflect the Ministry's continual services for the benefit of citizens and take into account the requirements of the next phase of the urbanization and rapid population growth in cities and governorates of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
