SR 5 bln water projects implemented in Madinah region

An amount of SR 650 million has been allocated to water and sanitation projects in Madinah Region for the fiscal year 1433/1434AH, raising the total costs of the new projects and other projects being implemented to an amount of more than SR 5 billion. The Director General of Water Directorate in the Region, Eng. Saleh Jablawi has pointed out that the projects include the establishment and expansion of 5 water tanks, sanitation stations, water networks, a water purification station at the Prophet's Mosque; and detection and treatment of leakages in water networks.
