South Korea overtakes China in ship deliveries

South Korea has overtaken China in ship deliveries for the first time in five years, data showed on Monday, reflecting South Korean shipbuilders' lead in technological innovation.
According to the data compiled by Hana Daetoo Securities Co., South Korean shipbuilders delivered 10 million compensated gross tons (CGTs) worth of ships in the first 10 months of the year, higher than the 9.78 million CGTs worth of ship deliveries by China.
