South Korea government announces plan to develop content industry

South Korea plans to create a 200 billion won (US$189 million) joint investment fund with China to help more local content producers make inroads into the Chinese content market, a government committee said Friday. Under the plan drawn up by the Presidential Committee for Cultural Enrichment, South Korea and China will raise 100 billion won each with investment from government coffers and civilian firms.
