Seoul logs current account deficit with EU

South Korea saw its current account with the European Union shift to the red despite logging an overall record current account surplus last year, central bank data showed Friday.
Korea's current account shortfall with the EU reached US$2.57 billion in 2013, reversing from a revised $1.63 billion surplus the previous year, according to the preliminary data by the Bank of Korea.
