Seoul government to revamp regulations in service sector

The government will push to overhaul major regulations related to the service sector along with labor and environment areas as part of its ongoing efforts to boost corporate investment through deregulation, the finance minister said Friday. The promise by Hyun Oh-seok came a day after President Park Geun-hye presided over an hours-long debate with policymakers and businesspeople to tackle red-tape and other regulatory hurdles hampering corporate investment. The debate, the first of its kind, was broadcast live.
