Saudi non-oil exports amounted to 42, 890 million during the third quarter of 2011, compared to SR 31,943 million in the third quarter of last year, an increase by 34%. In a bulletin issued by the Central Department of Statistics and Information and reported by Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Department said that Saudi imports amounted to SR 96,791 million during the third quarter of 2011, compared to SR 100,106 million during the same period of last year, a decrease by 3%. Saudi exports included among others petrochemicals products, plastics, foodstuffs, and re-exported commodities. Saudi imports included machines, electric equipment, transport machineries, foodstuffs, minerals, and other commodities.
