
In coincidence with the visit paid by Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, to China, the Saudi-Chinese Business and Investment Forum is began today.The forum is attended by Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabee'a, Minister of Commerce and Industry, Abdullatif Al-Othman, Governor of the General Authority for Investment, Dr. Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Suwail, President of King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, Saudi ambassador to China Yahya bin Abdulkarim Al-Zaid, the President of Chinese Investment Authority and a number of Saudi and Chinese businessmen.In his speech, Dr. Al-Rabee'a highlighted size of trade and economic cooperation between the Kingdom and China, pointing out a cooperation agreement signed between the Saudi Ministry of Commerce and Industry and General Administration of Quality Supervision in China in the field of protecting consumers of fake and shoddy goods."Invest in Saudi Arabia" exhibition is held on the sidelines of the forum, highlighting the investment fields in the Kingdom, the support rendered by the government to investors, including the investment system, investors' rights protection system, basic services provided and other investment privileges.
